CARD MEANING

Upright:  This card represents someone who has hit rock bottom on a situation.  Perhaps you are feeling completely fatigued and at the end of your ropes.  You have nothing left to give and have decided it is time to bring the situation to an end.  You are worn out and done.  Alternatively, this card may point to an abrupt and unexpected end to a situation.  You may feel like a victim or martyr, having done your best only to be left unappreciated and fatigued, or worse, attacked for your efforts.  This card is telling you that no matter the situation, it is time to end that phase and that ending will be irreversible.

Reversed:  If this card is pulled in a reverse position, it may be telling you that it is time to start something anew.  You have reached an end where moving on in your current direction no longer serves you and you are ready to take abrupt action to make things different.  Alternatively, this card may be telling you to take some much need rest.  What has been causing you stress or discomfort is gone and you can breathe a deep sigh of relief.  The worst is behind you.
